Well well, its Mothers' Day today. I pay tribute to my mom. She has been the pillar in my life, the woman behind me. I used to depend so much on her when I was young, and though I became more independent as I grew up, she was always there for me to fall back on. And she still is. Thanks mommy!
Todays sermon was about having mega-faith in Jesus. The Canaanite woman who begged Jesus to heal and save her daughter. The learning points? Do not be discouraged by voices, keep sight of hope. The woman despite bring discouraged by the disciples, she kept on asking. Sometimes I wonder, there are things that people want to do. But they get discouraged by their friends. "Nono, there is no hope." "Doesn't matter how much you try, you're not getting there." Such words coming from a friend definitely has its impact. Well, the Canaanite woman kept trying and she got there. Sometimes, you gotta screw what the world says and do the stuff you think has to be done. Or you might miss the chance to do it forever.
Well, I celebrated lunch today with my family at indulgz. Food was good, but I waited terribly long. Me and bro shared the bill. Which reminds me, I will be paying alot of these bills come comissioning, cos I got friends to feed. =) And commissioning is 4 weeks away. ROARRRRRRRR!!!
chomp chomp.
Its been bookmania for me. I've bought 2 books in the last 2 weeks, one each weekend. Since my friends are busy, then let books be my company. Sounds sad huh. Hahaha. My parents get worried that I don't go out enough. They think I'm anti-social, which I must admit I'm a little bit of. Oh well, I didn't really go out much in poly, didn't make much friends, but heck. I don't need to be friends with the whole world. I've got a couple of good friends, and thats good enough. We don't have to meet every week. If we do, what about my books? Whos gonna keep them company? Hahaha. Back to camp peeps. Ciao~
For He knows how weak we are;
He remembers we are only dust.
Psalm 103:14
He knows our frailties, so relax. He won't give us things that we can't do. Have faith. =)
